Changing web hosting

September 25, 2005 11:20 PM

This site may be down for the next few days because I am changing web hosting providers. I will be going to DreamHost. In the transition phase the site may not load. Just thought I would send out a warning.

Jack in the Box Voice Mail

September 17, 2005 5:03 PM

I received this in an email and thought I would share it with those who have not heard this. Read the description below and then click the link for the audio.

On a recent Spurs trip, we were asking one of our sponsors who works at Jack in the Box some funny stories or experiences with the company. The funniest story he had was when an operations manager was late for a meeting and called his boss to tell him he was running late. As he was leaving the voice mail message, he witnessed an accident and went on to provide “play by play” of the incident.

After telling us the story, he promised to send us a copy of the voice mail and here it is. This is the actual voice mail message. It was passed along and forwarded so many times within Jack in the Box, it crashed their voice mail server.

Feel Free to Send Me Some Feedback

September 08, 2005 3:06 AM

I have completed a contact form for my website. I have removed my email link so that the world does not have my email address. In the wrong hands, this information could be sold to the highest bidder and I would have junk mail for many years. This is also a more secure way for people to send me some feedback.

Not sure how many people actually look at my site, but I do appreciate any comments or suggestions anyone may have concerning my site. You could just send me a note telling me about yourself if you choose. At least I would know that you made it to my neck of the woods.

I am also updating the forms on the ApplePickers website to be more secure. I am almost finished and will be adding some new forms to that website.

On another note, I have been pondering a possible global epidemic that may happen in the months or years ahead. This epidemic could be caused by Hurricane Katrina. The flood waters contain many diseases. Anyone who was rescued has been sent to other cities all over the country. These same people also may have been contaminated by diseases in the waters. See where I am going here? Discuss amongst yourselves.

I Can’t Afford My Gasoline

September 03, 2005 12:05 AM

Our country is going through a bad time. With gas prices going up, there are many angry consumers. I thought I would try to make light out of the situation. The following link is a movie about the gasoline prices. It is really funny. Sometimes you have to laugh!

I Can’t Afford My Gasoline

April and I have made our donation to the American Red Cross. The Red Cross is a good organization that needs to be kept alive for situations that arise. My employer has made a one million dollar cash contribution. That is awesome!

Here is something freaky for you. The following article talks about a hurricane that hits New Orleans, Louisiana in August. The freaky part about this article is that it was written in October 2004! Follow the link to the article. Very interesting.
