What a Day!

The company I work for got hit with the Zobot virus yesterday and today was a day that I would have rather been home sleeping. I arrived at work one hour early today and got to work assisting customers with the virus attack. I came in early because management asked for volunteers and also because I am such a great guy.

To say it was busy today would be an understatement! It’s amazing how many people a virus can affect in such a short time. Luckily for me, I do not use Windows at home so I do not have to worry about things like this. I use a Mac and could not be happier. I do not have to worry about virus attacks that Windows users deal with everyday. This same virus brought down many Windows 2000 PCs at ABC, CNN, and other big companies.

I sure hope that tomorrow is a better day.

While computer support is filled with joy, I would like to work in web development. I feel that I would enjoy a career that is constantly changing the way the internet is used. Currently, I am writing up my cover letters and updating my resume to start applying for web development jobs. I have the desire to be a full-time web developer since I spend most of my free time learning about the industry. Wish me luck in my search for a new career path.
