		<description>I have heard of the raw foods diet several times, but have not yet tried it. Will look into that in the future. My decision to go vegetarian was to minimize the suffering of animals. Optimal health is a great benefit, among several others.

My thoughts about PETA&#039;s 30 day veg pledge is the idea of creating a habit. This is the amount of time it takes to either create or eliminate a habit. They probably hope that after 30 days you continue to eat healthy. This is good for both humans and animals.</description>
